Its Sunday. Yep. You know what that means. FOOTBALL. The second best day of the week, behind Saturday of course. (I'm southern, 'cmon man, College football is where its at)
But my life, like so many others on Sundays--Unless I'm working on them of course, it is a big sports day after all--is at the mercy of FOX, CBS, and NBC.
Well today, I would like to thank FOX for this.
Yes. Your eyes arn't deceiving you. That is the NFC South Match-up of the Supabowl Champion Saints vs. the Carolina Panthers. In Central New York. Let me say this one more time. I am at home, in CNY, watching my first and second favorite teams in a NFC SOUTH divisional matchup. To that I say, Thank You Fox! Although I am quite sure that I am the one and only person that was watching this game with any sort of vested interest in the coverage area, it made my day.I tip my hat to FOX, thanks for avoiding the agony of a Saints fan who moved out of the South, for one more week. I can only hope that more of you feel my excitement this season, when you find out that your team is playing--on regional coverage-- when you are absolutely NOWHERE near that region.
