But realistically, who would want to hear anything that an 'inspired Sports Girl' might have to say? Well... I don't know, but your the one that's still reading. That being said, stay tuned--I hope what I have to say will fill you with wonderment and endearment for sports, as if you didn't love 'em enough already.
C'mon, but why would you (boys) listen to a girl about sports? I know it will take some convincing. Well, after plenty of incidents like Inez Sainz, I can see how you would be skeptical. But stick with me, I mean I might be writing in pink, but I promise anything I say about sports has been thought through with just as much background as they 'boys.'
I am confident can do anything boy/men can do, except running.. which I can do better then most men. (Sorry boys, when you can run a 5min mile, feel free to race me. ) Oh, and tackle at 250lb linebacker running who runs a 4.3 coming at me, I'll defer to you guys on that one.
Wanna know how I am so confident I know my sports? Well it could have something to do with the countless hours my Dad sat with my sister and I watching 'the big 3 sports' when I was a toddler, and only being allowed to talk about the game and rules. Or maybe the four D1 sports I played at 2 different universities. (Get 'em 'Cuse, and of course my Gardner-Webb 'Runnin Bulldogs!) Or, just perhaps, the All-Star teams I played on for Soccer, Swimming, Track, Cross Country, Cheerleading, and Dancing? I don't know though, just a guess.
And best of all.. I don't look like a boy. I know your thinking that, but I'll prove you wrong there too.
